As a longtime professional writer, I tell stories about people and places, artists and businesses, and issues and organizations. Sometimes I write to inform; other times I write to entertain. But always I write to communicate—whether it’s to touch another’s heart, convey an important message or compel a specific action.
My clients are health-care organizations and non-profit directors, startups and established businesses, and newspaper and magazine editors. My work includes marketing collateral, Web content, newsletters, press releases, case studies, and newspaper and magazine stories.
I successfully craft my messages by first carefully listening with an interviewer’s ear to those whose stories I am telling. What are they saying? And what do they need?
